This award is intended to recognize personnel for their efforts on behalf of the EMT program, as shown in one or more of the following areas: efficiency, innovation, devotion to the medical mission, improved safety or enhance of the Department's image.  Written nominations shall be sent in November of each year to the Selection Committee in care of Reserve Forces Bureau Headquarters. The nominations shall contain all pertinent information and documentation to support the nomination.

The Committee will consist of the Reserve Forces Bureau Commander, The Sergeant in-charge of the Search and Rescue program, the Reserve Chief of the Search and Rescue program, and the Reserve Captain  in-charge of the Medical program.

Awards will be presented following the completion of the nominating procedure.
